2nd Update

We have a new puppy ... her name is Coco.  She's a cute little long haired dapple dachshund.  She's a mess.  Right at 8 weeks and makes us laugh.  She's a smart little thing already and goes to the door when she needs to potty.  Most of the time if she makes a mess, it's because we missed her telling us she needs to go!  We need to get her a little bell I think!

Emily is doing well.  Looks like she'll have all As for her first 9 weeks!  We'll find out for sure next week.  She is seeing a counselor and she says Emily spends most of her time talking about Lily.  This isn't surprising because she cries about Lily most every day.

Wayne is going to see his chiropractor to see if he can get some relief in his neck.  He's still super stiff and sore.  One thing we learned from the chiropractor is his compression fracture is less than 50% compressed.  This is great news because if it was more than 50% compressed he would most likely need surgery of some sort.  The doc mentioned using cement (YIKES) so this is really good news!  We go back to the Ortho doctor on November 3rd to find out next steps.   Hopefully we'll get some good news.

Some bad news is we just received his last paycheck.  He doesn't have short term or long term disability.  Things are going to get financially interesting around here.

Over all we are doing well.  When I remember how lucky we are I can't stay cranky long.
